Creators (VMI)

The world of Creators is an inner one filled with imaginative thoughts and ideas for the future. They conceive many different potential outcomes, contrasting them to one another and deciding their value as they blend them into a bigger picture. They judiciously welcome new information into their existing framework of ideas as well, seeking to weave all elements into a cohesive understanding.

This can take time. Creators aren’t always comfortable sharing rough, incomplete concepts, preferring to think their ideas through before presenting them to anyone other than trusted confidants. Once composed though, they present their thoughts with clarity and conviction. Because they take such care, Creators commit firmly to their conclusions, changing their minds only for weighty, worthy reasons.

The resulting visions these types develop are often about making something better. Creators believe in the power of thought and ideas to elevate life, both technically and socially. They might devise improvements to a specific practice or envision a whole new system. Whatever the scope or nature of their idealism, these types have a passion for understanding and shaping the world around them.

Of course, one aspect of creatively envisioning such grand possibilities are the occasional distractions. Creators can get caught up in abstractions about how things should (or could) be rather than attending to practical matters at hand. This is especially likely if they spend a great deal of time thinking and dreaming by themselves, something they often relish.

However, these types also relish finding a sense of commonality with others and are thrilled to meet a mind and soul that impresses them. Such kinship can be rare in its truest form and, for this reason, Creators’ social circles are often small. As selective as they are, these types place enduring value on those who have earned their appreciation, sharing their innermost thoughts and feelings with such select individuals.
