Harmonizers’ quiet manner can create an initial impression of shyness, but their minds and hearts hum with a passion for asking and understanding life’s more profound questions. Not only do they seek to comprehend the weight and significance of human actions, thoughts, and emotions, they seek harmony with them, preferring a cooperative place in the world.

They approach this search through bright imagination and idealistic vision, yet definitive methods. This type builds their views by evaluating many different things, bringing scattered pieces into a cohesive whole with firm structure. Harmonizers guide themselves wholeheartedly by values colored with kindness, caring about the thoughts and feelings of others.

As such thoughtful individuals, Harmonizers try to avoid offending or hurting anyone. While they have their convictions, they rarely push them on others who aren’t open to a positive exchange. They love sharing their ideas and ideals, but have no taste for conflict and conquest. This isn’t to say Harmonizers can’t be feisty and expressive, but for this type, winning feels like a loss if it brings pain to other people.

Because of this sensitivity, Harmonizers often hold their tongues in mixed company, mindful of how others may react. This social barrier falls away once they get to know people, however, and their thoughts and opinions come pouring out among friends and trusted colleagues. In encouraging environments, Harmonizers’ minds flow freely.

And their minds are possessed of great imagination and vision. These types see hidden potential easily, inspired by what noble things might be. If they occasionally lose touch with mundane matters around them, it’s likely because they’re conceiving a grand future for the benefit of all. Joining others to make such worthy visions come true is a satisfying goal for this type.

This doesn’t mean Harmonizers always find it easy to work with people, especially in large groups. As Introverts, they find even supportive social environments draining after a time and crave privacy to regain their energy. These types often function at their best when their social activity is deep rather than broad. They appreciate having meaningful connections with select individuals more than a crowd and are uncomfortable in the spotlight.

Harmonizers’ tenacious creativity balances this seeming humility – their ideas can be ambitious and powerful, with a wonderfully composed framework. Others may be surprised by the clarity and conviction of Harmonizers’ proposals and visions. They aren’t inclined to show off, compete, or self-promote, but when they reveal the true depth of their thoughts, they’re impressive.
