Influencers are sociable people who enjoy engaging with others. They’re drawn to taking an active part in the social world around them, exploring and getting to know it and making connections with different kinds of people. They also value their independence and freedom, boldly following their paths and striving to keep from being swallowed by the social world around them – or losing their individuality.

This is a type that deeply enjoys being around others, happily chatting with interesting people of different lifestyles and social circles. Influencers like to experience different vibes, characters, and temperaments. They especially enjoy taking part in intriguing joint activities or endeavors with practical, tangible goals. They don’t really go for more philosophical, abstract, or idealistic directions.

This drive toward social exploration coupled with authentically enjoying engaging with others makes this type sensitive to social cues, the dynamics of social interaction, and shared atmospheres and environments. They’re socially savvy and understand the implicit social norms and standards that people tend to expect, from what to wear to how to act.

But this doesn’t mean they always act in accordance with expectations. Influencers value their own reasoning and individuality and possess a certain bravado and social boldness. They won’t always go with the flow and rarely have a problem challenging the current social direction if something else makes more sense to them.

Influencers are also no strangers to intentionally standing out from the crowd. They’re well aware of their image and reputation, and capable of influencing how they’re perceived – they sometimes seek to assert that they’re not like everyone else. They may flex their intellect, social savviness, boldness, or their skills and knowledge to present themselves in a certain way.

Those with this personality are sensitive to the reciprocality of social relations, disliking when someone tries to use them or get something from them without offering something in return. They steer clear of social “leeches” or those that seek to manipulate them for their own ends, preferring mutual rather than one-sided interactions.

Influencers also avoid the abstract, purely theoretical, or philosophical. They’re practical people who prefer more tangible and concrete topics over long, speculative discussions. They like actively engaging and experiencing the subject in question firsthand instead of dealing with it in their minds. When seeking insights, they’re guided by experiential exploration more than deep thought.

Their active approach means Influencers aren’t the kind of people to make detailed plans for the future, especially not long-term ones. They like taking things as they come and making decisions on the go. They tend to see making elaborate plans as essentially guesswork, preferring instead to invest that time and energy into actively dealing with whatever actually occurs.

Quick-witted, this type prefers active work, often hands-on and involving interaction with other people. They prefer working in a team to working alone, but they do like to maintain a certain freedom in how they go about doing their work and achieving their goals. Influencers tend to be great networkers and “know just the person” for almost anything, regardless of whether it’s about getting expert advice, materials, or who to bring into a project.
