Campaigners are charming, energetic types who enjoy making new social and emotional connections. They form ideas and understanding by filling themselves with experiences that lead to new insight, letting the environment seep in through their interactions with others and the world. Their minds and imaginations are always at work, fueled by such experiences and impressions.

They especially like being around other people, engaging with them or simply being a part of social environments. As they participate, observe, and experience, Campaigners form their own connections and ideas which they then explore as they wish. This type doesn’t usually adhere to a single guiding rule or particular approach, preferring to freely entertain different angles and let the result emerge organically.

But they aren’t interested in just mulling over their experiences, ideas, and thoughts in solitude; they like to go out and practice them, entering the world with those ideas in mind. For Campaigners, an idea is best explored and evaluated by acting upon it – or at least sharing and talking about it.

This type will rarely hold their tongues when excited about their ideas and insights, and this infectious enthusiasm has dual benefits: it gives Campaigners a chance to make more social connections, which in turn gives them new sources of information and experience. They value both as they compare and contrast their new friends’ opinions with their own ideas and views.

When something rings true to them, Campaigners are willing to pour their energy into it, often putting them in the spotlight. They may draw other people in with their charm and enthusiasm as well, building great cooperation. Campaigners tend to be approachable, enjoying both small talk and deep, meaningful conversations as two sides of the same coin. They generally get along with everyone, and their circles of friends and associates stretch far and wide.

But even though they’re gregarious and energetic about sharing their beliefs, Campaigners never forget that a new experience or insight might cause their views to shift and advance. Flexibility and authenticity aren’t at odds with this type. They’re sincere but don’t pretend that their views and beliefs are so perfectly in line with the realities of the world that they won’t ever need to change.

As excited as Campaigners are about new understanding, they can also be assertive. They’ll boldly share and defend their views and opinions, as well as voice their disagreement and concern. They’re sensitive to malicious comments and intent in general, and especially to infringement of their freedom or the freedom of others. When provoked, this type can be feisty.

Ultimately, however, they’d rather not fight if they can create harmony instead. Campaigners see life as something that should be enjoyed, not wasted by slaving away for something empty or cold. They easily lose patience and become unsatisfied if their lives feel stale and monotonous, or when they don’t have the time to explore their ideas, genuinely express themselves, and freely engage with others.

Often the life of the party, this type sees emotions as an integral part of human identity and is nourished by the social and emotional connections they make with others. Campaigners are open-minded; they know how to relax and are perfectly capable of switching from in-depth theoretical discussions to simply having fun. Whatever they do in the moment, they never cease their passion for discovering and sharing new creative ideas.
